I help organisations to make sense of complex sustainability requirements by developing practical, scalable strategies.
My work moves between environmental frameworks, data systems and implementation, and my aim is to bring cohesion to the fragmented areas that are hard to navigate. I build productive approaches to sustainability that can iterate with the changing world.
Travel is my reason for being, so I made it my career. Travel and tourism is a formidable and far-reaching sector, so I want to use my experience and deep passion to ensure its scale leads to meaningful and measurable good.
Most recently I worked as the Data Strategy Lead for Travalyst; the global coalition founded by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, comprising some of the biggest travel and technology brands working together for a more sustainable industry. Read more here.
I am a language and literature student at heart - fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi and Bengali. I also studied German and Portuguese.

I have been trusted (and love) to make the complex simple! I thrive in taking the necessary risks to build towards a vision, learn in the process and iterate. The trick is courage, conviction and commitment.
From diplomacy to sustainability, I have overseen projects from seed ideas, to rooted, flourishing successes. My love for languages and localisation has seen me work and volunteer as as Spanish-English translator, including of technical documents.
As the Data Strategy Lead for Travalyst, my job was to bridge private and public sector agendas across the tourism value chain, in the context of emerging regulatory standards, frameworks, and methodologies. I led the sustainability data dimension within the Regulatory & Public Affairs team, overseeing projects including:
- The harmonisation of sustainability data across standards, frameworks and impact calculation methodologies within the tourist accommodation sector. I coordinated the building of an iterative accommodation impact model informed by the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, LCA & EU PEFCR for hotel accommodation, as well as the still-evolving sustainability claims regulatory instruments.
- The global implementation of jurisdictionally specific regulation, such as the Travalyst Certifications Initiative, which is scaling the EU Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive to sustainability certifications for accommodation across the world.
- The policy and compliance review of passenger transport emissions methodologies against CountEmissions EU and its corresponding ISO 14083:2023, GHG Protocol Scope 3 Guidance and other policy instruments for multimodality in the EU.
- The incorporation of data validation and verification solutions within the larger data governance and architecture of Travalyst’s flagship project; the Data Hub.
